Aritco turned three sites into one.

Aritco had three websites for different lifts. Now everything is on one site, and the editors build new pages themselves.

The challenge

Aritco was founded in 1995 in Kungsängen, outside Stockholm, by four entrepreneurs from the lift industry. Today they make about 4,000 lifts a year, sold in 40 countries. Information about the lifts was spread across three separate websites. Content matters to Aritco and has to feel exclusive and consistent on every page. At the same time, the editors needed to change it themselves without breaking anything.

What we did

  • New structure

Together with Aritco and other consultants we went through every page and mapped out the structure and flows for one shared site.

  • UX/UI design

We designed the site from Aritco's brand guidelines, with elegance and exclusivity as guiding words.

  • Design system

We created new components in a design system, so every page has the same look and feel.

  • CMS for editors

We built the site on a CMS with about 40 ready-made sections that the editors combine into new pages.

The result

Visitors find everything in one place, and the editors handle the content themselves.

1 site

Instead of three

All of Aritco's lifts are now on the same website, with the same design and structure. Editors build pages from 40 ready-made sections.

The wins for Aritco

  • All information about the lifts on one website.
  • A website that follows the brand guidelines on every page.
  • A design system that keeps the site consistent as it grows.
  • Editors who build new subpages themselves in little time.
  • No agency needed for everyday content changes.
  • Changes without the risk of breaking the design.
  • The collaboration has continued with an app for lift owners and a tool for service technicians.
