Who is responsible for your data

Kumpan Sweden AB, Industrigatan 4B, 112 46 Stockholm, is the data controller. If you have questions about how we handle your data, reach us at info@kumpan.se.

What data we handle

• When you contact us: name, email address, phone number, company and what you write to us.
• When you apply for a job: name, contact details, CV, cover letter and your answers in the application.
• When you use the quote chat: what you write in the chat and the company and contact details you give there.
• When you're a client: contact details for you and your colleagues, and what we need to deliver and invoice.
• When you visit the site: how you use it, such as which pages you visit and which device and browser you use. We only collect this if you accept analytics or marketing cookies.

The quote chat

The quote chat saves the conversation in your browser so you can pick it up later. You delete it with Clear chat.

What you write is sent to Anthropic, which runs the AI in the chat. Anthropic does not use the data to train its models.

If you give an organisation number or your company's name, we fetch public information about the company from Bolagsverket and the web. If you leave an email address or phone number, we save the conversation, the estimate and your contact details as an enquiry in our sales system so we can follow up.

Why we handle it

• To answer questions and requests, based on our legitimate interest.
• To deliver assignments and invoice, to fulfil the contract and the Swedish Accounting Act.
• To recruit, based on your consent, which you give when you send your application.
• To measure and improve the site, only with your consent to analytics cookies.
• For marketing, only with your consent to marketing cookies.

How long we keep it

• Requests: up to 12 months after the last contact, unless they lead to an assignment.
• Client data: as long as we work together. Accounting records for seven years, as the Accounting Act requires.
• Applications: up to 24 months after the recruitment ends, or until you ask us to delete them.
• Site statistics: up to 14 months.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We only share it with suppliers who help us, and only what they need. They may not use the data for their own purposes.

• Suppliers of hosting, email and our internal systems.
• Anthropic, which runs the AI in the quote chat.
• Google, Meta and Microsoft, for analytics and ads, if you have accepted it.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

Data outside the EU

Google, Meta and Microsoft may process data in the USA. They are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and where needed we use the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Anthropic, which runs the quote chat, processes data in the USA. For that we use the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• know what data we have about you
• have incorrect data corrected
• have your data deleted
• restrict or object to how we use it
• get your data and move it to someone else
• withdraw consent at any time, for example for cookies

Email info@kumpan.se and we'll help you. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

How we protect the data

Only people who need the data for their work can access it. Traffic to the site is encrypted and we back up our systems regularly.
