HPI got a platform ready for more users.
HPI runs a platform for medical checks in working life, used by occupational health services. Our UX designers made it consistent and accessible and created a design system that underpins all of HPI's products.

The challenge
HPI provides IT services and expertise to occupational health services and others working with health and the work environment. Its platform for medical checks in working life lacked a consistent look and feel. It needed to feel professional and modern, and more user groups needed to be able to use it. Parts of the products were not accessible either, mainly in colours and contrast.
What we did
Research
We started by learning how users navigate and use the products.
Accessibility
We adjusted colour scales and contrast and changed the typeface, so text became easier to read.
User flows
We improved navigation, menus and login, and redesigned how data is presented.
Design system
We built a design system with every component the developers need, from buttons and type to menus and charts.
The result
HPI is now ready to launch the new platform and invite more user groups.
Design system with every component the developers need
Developers no longer make their own design decisions and build new features from ready-made components.

The wins for HPI
- A platform with a consistent, modern look.
- Better readability thanks to new colours, contrast and type.
- Clearer navigation, menus and login.
- Data that is easier to read and understand.
- A design system that underpins all of HPI's products.
- Developers who no longer have to make their own design decisions.
- A platform ready to bring in more user groups, such as employers.
